We recently had Hatam cater my Aunt's reception after her funeral and we were not disappointed. This was at least the 5th time he has catered an event and as expected everything promised by Hossein was provided. The food was delicious and presented beautifully, hot food kept hot and salads were fresh. We requested plates & flatware for all our guests, food tastes so much better than using paper & plastic not to mention Ecco friendly. They are so tidy, by taking everything back & do not require the use of a kitchen. When they leave everything is clean & tidy. I love Hatam & Hossein. I would highly recommend giving them a try you will not be disappointed

Hatam is one of the best Persian food restaurants around! We have been going here for 25+ years! You get enough food for what you pay for, that's for sure. And the food is always delicious. I catered them for my wedding and til this day everyone says how good the food was.

We had never tried Persian food before and our waitress was very helpful. She gave us a menu with pictures and some helpful details. Our meals were hot, fresh snd delicious. My husband asked a few questions about recommendations and the subject of stews came up and she quickly volunteered samples of 3 different kinds.

Wow--so thankful my cousin was craving some Persian food! Chicken and beef koobideh were delicious and a good portion given all increasing food prices these days! Three entrees provided enough for another meal for 2 as leftovers. Appears to be a family-owned business/ stand alone restaurant complete with koi pond and rugs decorating the walls. Plenty of parking and open tables on a Sun for lunch in July. The dining room had at least 3 tables for 4, a couple tables for 6, and a few tables for 2; there was also covered outdoor seating. Saw a few customers ordering takeout. Lunch special pricing only applies to weekdays. The ?owner/manager came to check on us a few times during the delicious meal. Will definitely recommend this place if anyone needs recs, and hope to bring my yelp elite friend, too!

Living in the Palm Springs area, I have been dreaming about getting authentic Persian food. The week of Thanksgiving, I was in Orange County, getting a Disney fix. I stopped by for lunch. Parking wasn't easy, but I was able to secure a spot. There weren't too many people in the restaurant, but I noticed a brisk takeout business, while I waited for my food. I saw a sign stating that onion would be served only on request, but I was brought a basket of flatbread, onion, and butter. I was super happy. I haven't had that combo in a long time. I ordered some ghormeh sabzi with tadig and a loubia polo. It was so much food, but I was determined to eat it all. The tadig appetizer was much larger than I anticipated. The stew was absolutely perfect. Some of the tadig was a little chewier than I usually expect, but I enjoyed it all. The loubia polo was excellent. The koobideh was juicy and had a great flavor. The rice was moist and had great flavor. Service was excellent. Prices were super reasonable. You can tell it was repurposed from a diner, but who cares? The food is fantastic.

4 star Yelp Average review is perfect. When you walk in, you feel like you are in the middle of a James Bond movie with enchanting Middle Eastern music playing in the background of a spacious, well furnished and comfortable dining room that makes you feel like your eating in a wedding tent in ancient Persia Menu is tight, authentic and satisfying The chicken and lamb dishes we had were delicious and flavorful The staff was professional and attentive The pricing was more than fair A great experience. We'll be back
